My Sanctuary: February 2009

Here's just a little something i made up for the literary fair

While standing all alone in the darkness,
only then could I understand the meaning of your tears.
I stepped into the place I didn't want to be.
But I didn't mean to hurt them, please!
I sank into a abyss of Sadness.
What sort of destiny awaits me there?
Will I kill myself before I return...
NO?! I will not regret that I was ever born.
In sorrow, There's courage.This you must believe,
You only need to reach out and grab it to see what you'll recive
Your tears only serve to bring more sorrow into my life.
So why can't I turn my back on this wreched sight!
The blood of my love pours from the sky
It soaks my soul and turns it red.
I don't think I can contuine this quest in my head.
My body seems to have reached its limits.
Part of me, is still here fighting.
Th other half wishes to accept the truth.
I can't go on breathing,
So what is it I have left to lose!

I looked at you from across the room.
Smiling.
cheery with an upbeat tune
I tried so hard to erase the thought
but i couldn't keep my eyes off
you.
Cupid's arrow found its way
As it was very plain to see
I forced myself to not think of it
because the sight of you made me.
But all my effort to avoid you in vain,
Your Light shone though my darkest domain.
My walls of Hatred crumbled beneath your gaze.
my heart exposed for all blind eyes
and as i stand so shaken and surprised,
I glance at the Beauty before my eyes.
I tried so hard to avoid the truth.....
That i could never stop myself
from loving you.
